Nowadays it is difficult to get away from celebs, athletes or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Twitter has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

Finding anything to chat about that is not heated is challenging.

A brief background:

I am grateful to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have broken my own record multiple times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much appreciate collecting Winnie the Pooh “items”. Many Buena Vista individuals consider stuffies, figurines or books when they envision the memorabilia. The collection, however, is comprised of so much more: spice jars, rings, sweaters, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many amazing “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would appreciate meeting your amazing invitees in Buena Vista.
