A brief background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have crushed my own record numerous times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much enjoy collecting Winnie-the-Pooh “items”. Many Darien individuals think of stuffies, figurines or books when they envision the memorabilia. The collection, however, takes into account so much more: candy dishes, rings, t-shirts, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many delightful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would enjoy meeting your amazing people in Darien.
