Nowadays it is difficult to get away from celebrities, athletes or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as Facebook has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

Finding anything to chat about that is not controversial is not easy.

Well, if you are looking for a speaker in Polk City who is not a stars, athletes, politician and who is above average in fun you have come to the right place.

A brief background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have crushed my own record multiple times. My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has reached to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much love collecting Winnie-the-Pooh “items”. Many Polk City people think of stuffed animals, figurines or books when they imagine the collectables. The collection, however, includes so much more: crockpots, necklaces, sunglasses, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests people most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many wonderful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the globe.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would love meeting your amazing invitees in Polk City.
