In our time it is tough to get away from celebs, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about political issues or religion. Social media such as Facebook has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

Finding anything to talk about that is not heated is not easy.

A brief background:

I am flattered to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie-the-Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have smashed my own record numerous times. My initial record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed in excess of 27,000. Who knew there were so many items.

I very much appreciate collecting Winnie-the-Pooh “items”. Many Lake Buena Vista individuals consider stuffed animals, figurines or books when they imagine the memorabilia. The collection, however, includes so much more: cake plates, necklaces, sunglasses, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many wonderful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the US and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would relish meeting your amazing invitees in Lake Buena Vista.
