In our time it is hard to get away from stars, sports persons or just the average Joe talking about politics or religion. Social media such as Instagram has really put a cramp on “just having fun” dialogue.

A brief background:

I am grateful to be in the Guinness Book for having the Largest Winnie the Pooh and Friends Memorabilia collection in the world since 2008.

Since then, I have held the Guinness World Record title and have shattered my own record several times. My original record was set with having collected 3,891 items and today the record has amassed to over 27,000. Who knew there were so many things.

I very much enjoy collecting Pooh “items”. Many Temple Terrace people consider plush, figurines or books when they imagine the keepsakes. The collection, however, takes into account so much more: cookie stamps, jewelry, sweaters, bathroom items, holiday décor, toys, music – the list goes on and on …

The part of the presentation that I believe interests guests most is the fact at my husband, Gary, and I have had so many delightful “experiences” while collecting that has taken us across the country and across the world.

In my book, How It All Began, I give readers an opportunity to discover how collecting items has become collecting experiences while meeting amazing people. I would appreciate meeting your amazing people in Temple Terrace.
